Enrollment Process

 

So you're ready to choose a school for your child, and you feel like New Leaf Preschool may be the right fit! We are glad that you are considering our school for such an important decision! At New Leaf Preschool we are committed to fostering a nurturing, enriching, toxic-free environment for your child to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We look forward to the opportunity to help your child learn and grow during the 2025/2026 school year! Please take a look at the enrollment process below. Our process ensures that our school is a good fit prior to finalizing enrollment. If you have questions we welcome you to reach out via phone or email at any point during the process.

 

Step #1 Determine if We Could be the Right Fit

Take a look at our website, read through our Parent Handbook, review our school tuition and fees & calendar to determine if you feel our school could be a good fit for your family!

Step #2: Set up a School Tour & Interview (Recommended)

If a spot is open in your child's studio you are invited onsite for a school tour and interview. We will walk through the school and then sit down together for a brief interview. We do highly recommend that all families complete a school tour & interview before securing their child's enrollment to determine mutually that our school is a good fit. We will do our best to cover all school information but please feel free to bring a list of questions.

Step #3: Create a Brightwheel Account and Begin Enrollment

Start by setting up a Brightwheel account, our secure platform for managing enrollment. Once your account is created, follow the guided steps to complete the process.

We also offer Before & After School program for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. To enroll your student for the 2025/2026 school year please apply on the link below. Seats are limited. (Before and after program for preschool students in sincluded on the enrollment link above.)

​​​​Important: Enrollment can only be processed when all required forms are submitted.

 


Step #4: Enrollment or Waiting List

Once enrollment is confirmed you will receive an invoice via Brightwheel, within two business days of submitting an application. Enrollment is finalized once payment is received for the registration fee, field trip fee, and first installment of tuition (for new families).

 

Age Requirements: New students must be the required age by September 1st, 2025 to be considered for each program.

  • Emergent Toddler: 15 months old by September 1st, 2025

  • Toddler: 2 years old by September 1st, 2025

  • Emergent Primary (3K): 3 years old by September 1st, 2025

  • Primary (4K): 4 years old by September 1st, 2025​​

What should I look for when I tour a Montessori School?

Dr. Maria Montessori did not trademark her name, which means any school can attach "Montessori" to their name. The best way to know authentic Montessori is to see it in action, which is why we ask that families tour before considering our school. We also ask that you tour several schools- Montessori or Traditional, as each have something different to offer and we want to make sure you are choosing a school that is right for your family.
